Sharing the Love: My Love List with Diet Pepsi

4 Comments 18 February 2013

Just because Valentine’s Day itself is over doesn’t mean you still can’t celebrate and share the love that you have all month long, right? Of course, we’re not just talking about romantic love – we’re talking about the love you feel for family, friends, and even things that you love to do. My friends at Diet Pepsi challenged me to create my very own Love List around something that I love to do and I heartily accepted because I knew just what I wanted to share with you.

My lovely friend Lola hails from Italy and since she moved here we have all been begging her to offer a cooking class on real Italian food (after she expressed to us that Italian food in the US is not all that Italian!). About 3 weeks ago she finally started offering them and I have been able to spend my Wednesday nights in the kitchen with 5 or 6 of my friends learning to cook authentic Italian dishes.

Diet Pepsi Love List #sharethelove

So what did I need to complete my own love list? Well Diet Pepsi of course! Have you seen the new heart cans – just in time for Valentine’s Day? Perfection! In addition I included a cookbook on the Essentials of Italian Cooking, some phenomenal cookware (I’m addicted to anything Le Creuset), Garafalo pasta (the BEST), and of course, a cute and stylish apron. (A girl should look good even when she is cooking!)

I’ve pinned my Love List to pinterest here – for every 50 repins that it gets I’ll have a $50 gift card to give away to one of the repinners – courtesy of Diet Pepsi. It’s an easy way to win – so repin away!

What would be on your “Love List”? Share your thoughts with us on twitter by using the hashtag #sharethelove.

Disclosure: I was compensated for my time and efforts in creating this post. In no way did this influence my opinion on Diet Pepsi – it is the only soda that graces the shelves in this house!

I hear the secret to good Italian cooking is to keep it simple – no more than 4 or 5 ingredients per dish. We could all benefit from eating this way!

#You do need a good pot, plus you need the passion to cook, good fresh ingredients, and extra virgin olive oil, and you’re right…..every girl needs a cute apron!
